  • With Providers: When you redeem a voucher, the provider receives only the information necessary to verify and process the redemption (redeem code and validation status).
  • Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, payment processing, and email delivery. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Global Perks and our users.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), role-based access controls, regular security audits, and secure data centers. Redeem codes are protected with unique PINs, and all redemption transactions are logged with tamper-proof audit trails.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and safeguard your account credentials.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it. Specific retention periods include:

  • Account Data: Retained for the duration of the account plus 12 months after deletion request.
  • Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years for financial compliance.
